The Extendable drawer system, from Modul-System provides a safe and robust solution for demanding users in need of transporting heavier and bulky load. The system made in high strength steel and aluminium is especially suitable in Pick-ups, vans and passenger cars and will be launched at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham 12-14 th of April 2011.

To fulfil their requirement we now provide an extreme robust storage solution that manage though conditions and that fully reduces any unnecessary time loss in their process, says David Mickelson, CEO of Modul-System.
The extra long drawers are both fully compatible with and can be combined with the complete range of Modul-System products. Various and business unique accessories for example smart assortment boxes and load securing nets creates efficient and versatile storage.
The system is made of a combination of high strength steel and aluminium. This in combination with a new ball bearing solution creates maximum strength and minimum weight. This is an important factor for safety and for the environment, since it reduces fuel consumption.
Drawers manage a load of up to 80 kg and are provided with a safety catch to prevent them from closing when fully opened and in use.
The new system, which is a registered design with patent pending, was developed in close consultation with users and is the result of thorough research and safety trials including digital and physical crash tests.
“Another safety feature is the trapping protection that can be added and which requires a manual action by the user to close the drawer. This makes it very easy to provide a safe working environment for the user.” concludes David Mickelson.
